Tips for lorem ipsum

There have been a couple of blogs and forums about Google AdSense tips lately, I decided it would be helpful to consolidate the best of them in one place without the comments. I’ve also included some suggestions of my own. It starts with a few basics and then move on to more specific issues later on.When you’re considering becoming a web-based publisher, you’ll fall under one of two categories:

* Publish 100 websites that each make $1 per day profit* Create a website which earns $100 per day.

The reality is, the majority of people end up somewhere in between. A hundred websites leave you with maintenance, management and content problems. A single website leaves you open to all kinds of fluctuations (search algorithms patterns, market trends, etc.). You are able to alter your strategy in the future, but you’ll get more comfortable if you start out going towards where you’d like to be.

General or Niche

You can design your website around general subjects what are PR package or even niche ones. The majority of niche websites work better with AdSense. First of all, the ad targeting is superior. Also, because you have focused writing, it naturally becomes more expert in its nature. This should make you more authority in your field.

If you’re just beginning your journey at building an AdSense website, try to make it about something that you love. It makes the process easier and less painful to accomplish. It is important to ensure that your topic is in the vicinity to fill an ad inventory, and that the payoff is at a level you feel comfortable with. You may love traditional folk dancing, but the pool of advertisers for the topic is very limited (in fact it’s currently zero).

Once you’ve become familiar with the concept of the process AdSense is working on a web site it is likely that you will like to explore highly profitable keywords. You might be tempted purchase a highly profitable keywords list. However, this comes with dangers. First off the level of fraud is higher on the high-risk terms. There is also a distortion of the demand-supply relationship for these terms. Everyone would like to have ads on their site that generate at least $35 per click, yet the amount of advertisers who are willing to pay that much is tiny. In addition, the competition for that web traffic is bound to be very competitive. Don’t attempt to take on large dogs, if you don’t have the endurance to keep up. If you’re asked whether you’re a big-dog and you’re not, you’re not.

When you’re building a brand new website, do not put AdSense onto it till the site is finished. In fact , I’d even go further and say that you shouldn’t put AdSense on your site until after you have built the inbound links, and you’ve started to see traffic. If you’ve put up the website using “lorem ipsum” dummy or placeholder text or placeholder text, your AdSense ads are likely to be off-topic. This is often true for new files on existing websites, particularly if the topic is new or different. It can be a matter of days or weeks before the Google media bot return to your website and have the ads targeted properly. When you begin seeing a significant amount of traffic coming from different IP’s, you can speed this process up dramatically.I prefer building my sites using include files. I put your headers, footers, and navigation into common files. This makes it easier to manage and maintain. I also like to put my AdSense code into include files. If I need to alter my AdSense code, it’s only one file that I need to be working with. The other option is to use software to turn AdSense on or off. I have the ability to change a global variable to true or false and my AdSense ads will appear or disappear.

Controlling URL’s and channels

AdSense channels are one area where it’s really easy to be overly concerned with statistics. You can set up URL channels to see how one website is doing to the other. You can also set up subchannels with each URL. If you would like to make channels similar to this:

* 728 banner

* 336 block

* Text link

* 728 banner

* – image banner

* 336 block

* 300 block

While this is ideal for testing and knowing which people click where and when, it makes your reporting little shaky. The total is always correct, however when you view your reports with an individual channel breakdown, things can be displayed multiple times, and they will not make up the correct total. This can be quite confusing, so you must decide if you want that level of reporting specificity? TIP: At minimum, you should understand which URL is responsible for the revenue so make certain to input separate URL channels.
